Included with the Sana 848 is an extra large 1500ml vacuum storage jar and vacuum pump.  If you want to make juice for later, just snap on the lid and remove the excess air with a few strokes of the pump.  The combination of the gentle cold-pressed juicing system and vacuum storage means that juice will maintain much more nutrition and taste, up to 3 days later if kept in the fridge. Make your daily juice on Monday, and store enough for the next three days. The lid of the vacuum jar has an integrated calendar, so you will always know when the juice was made.

The Sana 848 uses a new screenless juicing system. Produce is cut by the rotating auger and then pressed against two interlocking strainers. These strainers form thin vertical slits, allowing the juice to be squeezed between them. After juicing, the juicing parts only need to be rinsed under running water - no brushing needed. Made from durable BPA-free material, it's our easiest juicer to clean.

The Sana 848 includes three screens designed to work best with different ingredients.

• The standard screen creates the most squeezing power, and is used for produce.
• The smoothie screen has bigger openings, allowing soft and fibrous produce to juice more effectively.
• The sorbet screen crushes and mixes gently thawed frozen fruits into smooth, delicious sorbet.

Every part of the Sana 848 reflects attention to detail and quality. For example, most juicers only include a small plastic cup to collect the pulp. The Sana 848 uses a large stainless steel pulp container. Not only does this look beautiful on the kitchen counter, it is also ideal for people who like to hygienically save their pulp for other uses. For example, pulp can be added to cakes and muffins, put in smoothies for fiber and taste, and even dehydrated into healthy crackers.
